A calm, semi-private pottery wheel experience designed for people who want a slower, more personal first contact with clay.

This is not a busy group class.
It’s quiet, focused, and guided — with the tutor close throughout.

Come on your own or bring someone with you.
No experience needed.

What you’ll do

You’ll get a proper first go on the wheel and make your first shapes.

  • learn the basics: posture, hand placement, centring and shaping

  • make 1–2 small pieces (a bowl, cup, or similar)

  • choose your favourite piece to keep

We’ll glaze and fire it for you.
Your finished piece will be ready to collect in a few weeks.
