A calm, semi-private pottery wheel experience designed for people who want a slower, more personal first contact with clay.
This is not a busy group class.
It’s quiet, focused, and guided — with the tutor close throughout.
Come on your own or bring someone with you.
No experience needed.
What you’ll do
You’ll get a proper first go on the wheel and make your first shapes.
learn the basics: posture, hand placement, centring and shaping
make 1–2 small pieces (a bowl, cup, or similar)
choose your favourite piece to keep
We’ll glaze and fire it for you.
Your finished piece will be ready to collect in a few weeks.
