We run pottery wheel sessions, hand‑building courses, clay & wine evenings, taster workshops and private group events
Do I need experience?
No experience needed - courses are open to complete beginners and experienced makers alike .
Where are you located and what are your opening hours?
Our studio is at 17 Town Street, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BE, open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am–8pm
How many people are in each class?
We keep groups small: wheel courses are just 2 people per session, so you get focused support
What’s included in a workshop?
Everything is provided: clay, tools, glazing & kiln firings, plus tea, coffee & biscuits
What do I take home?
You can come away with up to 5 handmade pieces per 4‑week course
What’s the structure of your 4‑week pottery wheel course?
Weekly progression:
Week 1: Clay basics and centring
Week 2: Shapes, form & handles
Week 3: Trimming and decoration
Week 4: Glazing session — ending with a mini showcase & prosecco
Can I book sessions individually?
Yes, we offer single‑session taster events like “Clay & Wine” or “Pottery Wheel Taster”
Do you offer memberships?
Yes, give you studio access, storage, firing discounts, and exhibition opportunities
Are private events available?
Yes, our space is available for private parties, team‑building and group bookings
Do you sell handmade ceramics?
We offer a small studio shop with one‑off plates, bowls and mugs — each made on our wheel
Who are you and what’s your story?
Founded in Ukraine (2019, Kyiv & Zaporizhzhia), relocated to Somerset in 2025. We’re a family-run studio focused on calm, connection & creativity
How do I stay updated?

When can I collect my finished ceramics?
Your pieces will be ready 4–5 weeks after your session, depending on drying time, bisque and glaze firings. We’ll email you when they’re ready for pickup.
Do you offer delivery of finished work?
Yes! We can carefully package and post your pieces for an additional fee - just ask at the time of booking or after your session.
Can I glaze my own work?
Yes, after the bisque firing, you’ll be invited to join one of our glazing workshops, where we introduce you to colour options and techniques before we apply clear glaze and fire your pieces.
Can I rent the studio for my own project?
Yes, the studio is available for personal projects, artist residencies, or filming. Get in touch to discuss your needs.
Can I commission custom pottery?
Absolutely! We take on a limited number of bespoke orders - from tableware sets to meaningful gifts. Let us know what you’re dreaming of.
Can I bring food or drinks if I book with a group?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, cake, drinks - especially for birthdays or celebrations. Just let us know in advance.
What if my piece comes out with a flaw or crack?
Ceramics is a delicate process, and while we do our best to guide and fire your work with care, minor flaws or cracks can occur.
We always explain possible risks beforehand and, if needed, we offer the chance to re-make your piece at any open workshop with 50% off within a month.
Do you run themed workshops or seasonal courses (e.g. Halloween or Christmas)?
Yes - and they’re some of our most magical sessions of the year!
We love creating seasonal workshops where you can design a whole themed collection - whether it’s handmade gifts for loved ones or festive decor for your home.We also transform the studio with cozy, celebratory vibes, so making feels even more special.
