Looking for more than a quick taster? This 3-hour immersive session is designed for anyone who wants to spend real time on the wheel, master the mechanics of throwing, and see if pottery is their next creative passion.
With only 4 people in the studio, you’ll get continuous, hands-on guidance as you try your hand at multiple shapes. Complete beginners welcome.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
Setting up your wheel, tools, and preparing clay.
Mastering the essentials: centring, opening, and pulling up walls.
Creating several forms throughout the session (cups, bowls, or small vessels).
Selecting and refining your best 2–3 pieces to keep.
What’s Included:
3 hours of guided studio time with high-ratio tutor support.
All-inclusive: Unlimited studio clay, tools, glazing, and 2 kiln firings.
2–3 finished ceramic pieces to take home (fully glazed, fired, and ready for pickup in 4 weeks).
Hot drinks break: Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.
