Studio Terms & Conditions

1. Studio access

Studio access is available only during designated opening hours and must be booked in advance where required.
Access is intended for independent work. Instruction is not included unless stated otherwise.

The studio reserves the right to refuse access if safety guidelines are not followed.

2. Membership terms

Studio memberships run on a minimum 2-month commitment.
Membership time is limited to the hours stated at purchase and does not roll over.

Wheel sessions are included within the total weekly studio time, not in addition to it.

Memberships are non-transferable.

3. Pay As You Go bookings

Pay As You Go bookings are confirmed upon successful payment.
Bookings are subject to availability and studio capacity.

Missed bookings or late arrivals may result in reduced or forfeited studio time.

4. Firing services

All firing services operate on a rolling schedule.

Bookings confirm drop-off and queue placement, not a specific firing date.
Final firing dates depend on kiln load, materials, and firing type.

All work is assessed by the studio before firing.
The studio reserves the right to refuse work that is unsuitable for our firing range or materials.

5. Responsibility & risk

Ceramic firing carries inherent risk.
While every care is taken, the studio is not responsible for damage, loss, or defects resulting from firing, materials, or glaze behaviour.

Any damage caused to kiln furniture or equipment due to inappropriate materials or preparation may be charged to the maker.

6. Payments & refunds

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Membership fees are not refundable once the minimum term has begun.
Firing and studio bookings cannot be refunded once accepted into the schedule.

7. Changes & discretion

The studio reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
Current terms are always available on the studio website.
